In-House Testing Laboratory

At Thermo-System, every drying process starts with an essential step: understanding the material. 
In our in-house laboratory, we perform standardized comparative drying tests under controlled conditions. This forms the foundation for designing reliable and energy-efficient drying systems.

In order to determine the drying behaviour as realistically as possible, we work with our own climate chamber and professional equipment to determine the dry matter content and the drying process. This allows us to simulate material behaviour in a controlled and standardized environment and compare it with data from our extensive database. 

Our lab is designed to handle a broad spectrum of organic and inorganic materials, including:

  • Sewage sludge
  • Digestate and fermentation residues
  • Agricultural and food production byproducts
  • Paper and pulp residues
  • Other sludges and filter cakes

If it can be dried, we can test it.

The drying tests are carried out under standardized conditions. Parameters such as moisture content and evaporation rate, as well as product properties and changes in properties during the drying process are evaluated and analysed.
